Im not sure but you should look at all the Information on the Website.
I think I remember on the website something about 'out of pocket expenses' being paid for.
Im really not sure. Sorry I couldnt be of more help.

There's no travel allowance with Springboard, unlike with Fas courses. The course fees and charges are paid but, other than that, Springboard is run under the Part-Time Education Option under which you retain your Social Welfare payment without top ups or allowances.

Maybe there are others from your area doing the same course or other courses run at the same time and you can car pool or just pay your share for lifts? Even if it meant some drivers going a bit out of their way it would pay off as everyone is looking to save the few bob. If the train times/routes suit you it is possible to get a railcard for 16 to 25 year olds which entitles you to reduced fares http://www.irishrail.ie/news_centre/news.asp?action=view&news_id=338 Bus Eireann lets you save a bit by booking online. If you have friends or relatives where you are doing the course maybe you could stay with them some nights and cut down on the travel costs? You have to be available and seeking work but nothing to stop you seeking it wherever you are undertaking the course.

Im gonna be in the same boat, but you have to think how much these courses would cost if you were paying privately, worth sticking out even if it means going into a bit of debt
