Its possible that it has a wireless card but that the card is switched off...

Is there a "wireless" symbol on it above the keyboard...and if so, is it lighting?

well i opened it up just there, and there are 2 slots where i presume the wireless card goes. would this be true or do you think it should already be wireless??

Your easiest option is a USB wifi dongle
