6+2 coolermaster cable wont fit into asus Mobo

    Hello

    I have M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 (asus Mobo)

    and cooler master silent pro gold Psu that has a 6+ 2 pin connecter


    the cable wont fit into the mobo 8-pin female socket?

    the 6pins will but the +2 will not fit ?

    any ideas

    The 6+2 pin is for PCI-E graphics cards. Its a 4 pin or a 4+4 pin that fits into the motherboard.
