i bought a titelist 910 d3 a while back from my local golf shop and i beginning to think that the shaft dosnt suit me, i was wondering if there any place i can bring my driver and get it custom fit now, bearing in mind that i have allready forked out the money for the driver and i dont want to go spending 200 + euro to get it sorted.
im based in the south east and would prefer some where close if possible

You're basically talking about a new shaft. What you could do is go for an open fitting day when one turns up and see what shaft suits you, make a note of it, then buy it online and get someone to fit it for you. From my own experience, the driver really is the most important club to get right, there are no bargains if the shaft does not suit your swing speed etc.

thanks boardsmember for your reply the only thing is that most of the demo days are now over for the year, i suppose the other option i have is to sell the club secondhand and take the hit, then go and get custom fitted.

Unfortunately the shaft is the most important component of the driver therefore aessential to get one that is right for you. For a decent custom fit, new shaft and refit it is not going to be cheap (we are talking not a whole lot less than the cost of the original club). I would suggest trying to sell it now, to recoup some of the cost then putting that towards getting properly custom fit for a new driver.

Worth trying a session with a pro to confirm it is the shaft that is the problem (although quite likely it is).

As suggested above, the next step is then to find a shaft that's suited to you. Then - depending on which one is - it may be cheaper for you to sell your existing driver and get a new one with a suitable shaft than replacing your shaft in the existing one.

If I was in your position now, I would go to a golf pro shop at a course nearby and get the pro there to work with you. He'll highlight what the problem is and if it is your shaft he may well fit a new one for free if you get it through him, or there's a chance he may do a deal with you changing your driver for something he has in stock that's better suited. The 910 3d is still very marketable, there should be no problem in shifting it if required.
