Can the NPWS deer licence be applied for at any stage during the season or is there a date they have to be submitted by before the season opens?

    Thanks lads :D

Yep anytime, you will actually get it back quite quick this time of year. Is it a first licence? if so mention to the farmers that gave you the letters to watch out for a call from the ranger as In all the cases I know the ranger rang arround the farmers to check everything was in order but if the farmer does not take the call for some reason it will delay the licence. Just my experience.

Correct, I ended up taking the ranger for a wee drive and walk accross the land I have permission for. Pleasant conversation had and a few days later the licence landed in the post.
