frozen steaks

    i have 6 steaks that i have just defrosted. they are still vacuum packed. how long do i have to use them?

    Why did you defrost all six?
    Would of made sense to defrost only what you need on the day you need it

    If you gave more info you might get better answers. Like is it round steak, if so you might make a stew or curry or something, which would keep longer. If all 6 are fillet and are intended for 6 people tonight you might get a different suggestion.

    If your freezer was defrosting you could refreeze them, if done correctly/safely, though it will effect texture so they might only be suited to stews after.

    6 striploin steaks. all vacuum packed. this is day three so thinking about putting them all on tonight.

    had one yesterday and it was fine. im still alive anyway :)

    Meat lasts approximately 3 days from when it's taken out of the freezer.
