Parking at Kings Inns

Hi I'm starting as an external student at KI tomorrow. I'll be there Tues night and Sat morning. I had a scout around the place yesterday and parking limited to say the least. I know they have a private car park but it's very expensive esp as I'm only there twice a week.
Can anyone recommend a good place to park. Class is Tues 7pm-8pm and Sat morning. Bear in mind I'm a woman and don't fancy walking too far on my own at that hour coming into winter.
I wax thinking of parking at Red Cow and getting the Luas in. How long will the Luas take from there to Smithfield, and is the Red Cow a safe place to leave your car?

    Thanks.

Have a look around on the Henrietta Street side... parking on the street should be free after 7pm and couldn't be too expensive to just pay and display for the Saturday morning class.

Look at the sign at the top of Henrietta St, it's only Pay and Display on Monday-Friday, so there may be free spaces up there on Saturday morning. Usual Dublin P&D cutoff time applies for weekdays (18:30?) so the OP should be golden for free on-street parking.

Thanks for that, I'll try around there. Is it a safe enough area?

Yeah, and it'll be outside most of your classes as (I presume) they don't do many classes in the Constitution Hill building, most are in the townhouses on Henrietta St.
