any chance of anyone with a bit of knowledge phoning in?

defence gets bog all media attention - anyone who can get on and make a decent point with regards to the IAC would be doing the country a favour...

    Not a hope...
John is currently attending a wedding in Malta. He was appalled when he discovered that the Irish Government’s Lear Jet is taking part in an air show in Malta. John wants to know who is paying for this trip and thinks surely that the Lear jet can be put to better use. Joe talks to callers about the Government Lear Jet and the work of the Air Corps generally.

I think John should go off and enjoy the rest of his holiday, and when he's out there he should maybe take the chance to see if he can get a life. He sounded like sarcastic, whiney, Victor Meldrew type old man on the radio who really didn't understand what he was commenting on. There are plenty of things for people to complain about but this is what makes liveline.
