    At the minuite I'm out of work but trying to get a company to do phase 7 of my apprenticeship with. Was on to one that can help but my safepass ran out last month . The woman reckons you can get it done free thorugh fas but I'm finding it hard to find who to talk too. Its probably staring me in the face but haveing been bounced around the fas phones I ended up talkign to a guy that looks after the trainers that do the courses, so thats no luck. Anyone know the proper person to contact?

    You would be best going into a FAS office and talking to someone, they can book you onto courses there and then.

    I dont think you will have much joy with fas. i went into the local fas office to find out about a safepass course and was told "theyre only run when someone as in a company looks for one to be run. she told me the next one would be in offaly and they had a waiting list of about a hundred. give me the number of a local company running courses every saturday and told me i'd be much better off going private. cost a hundred and ten euro. fas are useless, well our local one is anyway
