    I'm looking to get a tablet, which would be used probably 95% just for regular browsing. My PC is hooked up to my TV which is a pain in the ass tbh, so just want something to use the net while I can watch TV.

    Motorola xoom has been reduced in price today down to €340 on amazon. Only played with one for a few mins so can't really comment on how good they are.

    I have a XOOM and I have to say its a fantastic piece of kit. I only have it a few days and already I've used it to give presentations to clients as well as a portfolio and I can carry all my work around in it. Its also used as a tv for the child in the back seat when driving, you can buy a seat holder on ebay for a tenner.

    I was always of the opinion that tablets were a waste of money but I have to say its uses are endless so i'd highly recommend it.

    Two caveats though, XOOM 2 is obviously around the corner with all the recent price drops. The screen is poor also as the colours are a little washed out and lacks contrast. I look at photos every day so I noticed it straight away compared to my laptop but it may not be noticeable to everyone but there is definitely a difference.
