    Hi,

I am about to buy an iphone4 locked to meteor (adverts.ie) for my gf for her bday but she is on o2 network, can any1 tell me if i can get it unlocked? Ive been told by seller that it is an upgrade and therefore meteor will not release it until the contract is up...

I understand there are shops in town that can unlock phones, will this work on the iphone even though it is locked with meteor?

Also the seller has offered to include a 'gevey sim', can anybody offer any advice about these? I am concerned that it might not work or that it could affect the normal operation of the phone however big or small (e.g mms sending/receiving etc) i dont know much about these 'gevey sims' at all so any help would be much appreciated!!

    Thanks in advance ;)

If I where you I'd just find an O2 iPhone there are tons on adverts etc etc.Their was a big write up on here about the gevey sim just search in the search bar, there hit and miss at the best of times AND WILL NOT WORK WITH IOS 5! save your self the hassle in the long run buy it second hand on the O2 network
