    get a g&g raider

The G&G Raider is universally recommended as the best starter gun in Ireland. It got its reputation when there was a large crack-down on China-made guns (which basically eliminated any gun sub €300 in the Irish market). The G&G Raider was a comparatively cheap gun, compared to the higher end stuff, yet did not lack any of the performance of it's bigger brothers. It also had a reputation for not giving any hassle.

Today it is still recommended as 'the best' to start out with because the gearbox they use has good strong gears, some nice features like a double prong AR (anti-reversal latch) which makes it very stable, high quality wiring, and a beautiful feature of having a working forward assist which decompresses the spring. This makes it impossible for your gearbox to lock up.

However, now the China crack down has largely passed, and although it is certainly a formidable contender, it is not the only option. You can get plenty of guns, but they will be toward the outer limit of your budget (€250).

PS: If you can stretch your budget a little bit more, I would strongly recommend getting a good battery and charger right from the get go. The ones you get free with most guns are not fantastic. It's probably the best 'upgrade' you can do right off the bat

and also a good set of eye protection like a mask, glasses or goggles.
I think you wil get a set of glasses with the gun so just pick up a cheap mask

with masks the more basic it usually it the more comfortable it is.. in my expereience anyway.
a combo of glasses and a mask is good so when you are standing round on site you can whip off the mask and still be protected.

and then theres foot care. a nice pair of hiking boots not steel toe caps. An excellent investment

boots yes but I really would'nt recommend that face mask, the part that connects the mouth protection to the mesh breaks easily, also the mesh isn't great. Get Bolle goggles with Neoprene.

Can use these either, with goggles

    or this

    this is what I use

    with this

tbh I'd be very surprised if you manage to find the best set for yourself straight away, I went from a full face mask to goggle that fogged up constantly to mesh goggles ( scraped as i have useless eye sight as it is, so that didn't help) and then Neoprene and the Bolle's.

as for the AEG the Raider with a 8.4 intellect battery and smart charger. Done.

like any other AEG clean the barrel before you use it for the first time and then basic maintainence will ensure a long life, again like Inari said (Kev knows everything:P) push in the forward assists when you're done so the spring decompresses
