Ok, I know and am aware of the medical advice rules on this forum. I am not looking for medical advice here.

I have had pretty bad acne on my back for the last couple of years. I dont have it anywhere else; just on my back, so it is not noticeable when I am out in public etc. However, I am concious of it when I am in changing rooms etc.

My problem is I would feel kind of foolish going to a GP with such a complaint. I have only ever gone to GP's when I have been very sick (i.e puking up all over the place etc.).

Is the GP the place to go to with this kind of issue?

Doctors are the place to go with any medical issue that you require advice on treating or curing.
