C & C - My first 'Photo Diary'.

    Hi all,

An unusual C and C here, it is no so much C and C of photos but of a 'photo diary'.

A lot of my favorite photographers publish 'photo diaries' on their sites so I decided I would give it a try! I used an old blog post as the basis and re-wrote it to add new content.

Basically it is an account of a morning spent shooting landscapes at Carton house. It also contains background information to each of the shots I took. I really enjoyed putting it together. I'm off to Paris in a few weeks to get some shots so I might try writing a few more when I get back.

I'd love to hear some feedback.

    Here is the link:

Stunning work, would really motivate you to make that effort to get up early. Never been to Carton House, looks like a great spot.

Nice write up too...would it be pernickety to suggest changing the paragraph formating to justified alignment? It'd just be the icing on the cake presentation-wise, as minor an issue as it is.

IMO the photos depict a cold digital surreal quality. Not my cup of tea.

Thanks for the feedback folks. It was a really enjoyable exercise I have to say and really put me in the mood to get out and get more shots.

That's an interesting point actually. It crossed my mind alright but I tend to avoid justifying as apparently it makes reading more difficult for people with dyslexia. I am open to correction on that and perhaps somebody with more knowledge of the subject could let me know if I am right or wrong here.

    Nicely done. :)
I for one would really appricate a little EXIF info displayed for each image.

Did you have to get permission from the clubhouse to walk the course and take photos?

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.
