I find it hard every winter to find boot that don't look too wide on my thin legs. Are there any brands that cater for a thin leg?

Some of the ones in Dune are skinnier than others - I got a pair there a while back (they don't zip up anymore :( )

I also have this problem. I often find myself buying boots in the kids section :/ But that also doesn't really work at my legs are quite long.

Try http://www.duoboots.com/, they'll fit the boots to your exact measurements.

Expensive, but to be honest, for a good pair of boots, totally worth it.

But what if I ordered them, had them made specially and they didn't fit my foot properly or were uncomfortable? Too risky I think. I don't think their boots are particularly nice either.

You can return them for a refund or replacement I think within 10 days, but I returned a pair well outside the 10 days and got away with it!

It is a lot of messing about though if they are wrong, and I suppose it's more of a last resort if you can't find anything in the shops.

What shops have nice kids boots? Worth a look I suppose.

With my work hours I am not home when the post comes so buying online isn't an option at the moment.

I was in the shoe shop in Rathfarnham shopping centre recently and a lot of their boots were for very thin legs. Quite expensive - most of their boots are in the 100-200 euro mark, but worth it if you like them!

Have you the name of that shop please?

I had to google it - its Patrick Boylan Shoes.

Its downstairs nearer the Tesco end of the row of downstairs shops. I actually looked at one pair of their long boots and thought they didnt even look wide enough to go on my arm let alone my leg lol!!
