Guys, renewing my contracting end of the month. last time I looked the HTC Sensation and the Samsung Galaxy S2 were noted as the best in the market at the moment - is that still true ? Do either have a new phone on the way, I'd hate to buy now and notice that there is a new one out next month ? thanks.

I am in the same boat as yourself Chicken George.

This phone is supposed to be released end of next month. Not sure of price or what network will be carrying it.

They are both great phones, imho the main diff of note is in the finish and styling. The SGS II goes for a lightweight iphone look and feel, whereas the Sensation goes for a weightier Unibody Aluminium styling.

Performance from them is broadly in line, the SGSII has a slightly better camera, and a better screen, however the Sensations screen is a higher resolution.

I would suggest you go into the shop put both in your hands and pick the one you prefer the feel of, as look and feel is by far the biggest differentiator between the two phones.
