Gibbs plays ahead of Santos. Hopefully Chamberlain gets a chance to show what he can do today and we finally stop conceding shite goals. I should be confident of a win at home to Bolton, but this Arsenal team simply doesn't inspire confidence

The only thing is Bolton are not at the races either so far this season which should work for us. Hopefully Van Persie can get good supply today to cause problems.

Very surprised Davies isn't starting, surely everyone knows at this stage that Arsenal cannot handle high balls/crosses into the box and he would be a real thorn in their side.

What's peoples opinions on Gervinho so far?
At the start I thought he looked a bit sloppy and awkward on the ball (in pre season etc) and now my opinion has completely changed and he looks like he's always in control.

He's great to have because he can actually run at people and beat them. Needs to work on his composure and passing though.

Gervinho looks a threat at least - couple of good shots. Defensively I have my heart in my mough every time the ball is passed back to our keeper as the defenders seem to be putting him under pressure each time. Szczesny has dealt with it very well.

Not all the time, they are rotating among the 3 of them.

It's a deliberate ploy I think, Wenger's looking to make use of Song's strength to hold up the ball in advanced areas and hopefully feed the late runs of Ramsey and Arteta. Song plays high at times but doesn't really join the attacks in the box like a proper playmaker would.

Walcott (no offence to him) but hes absolutely useless when we are dominating a poor side, he doesnt get the room to go behind the defence and when he doesnt, the only option is to cross which is just useless when you're playing for Arsenal. His lack of a left foot means he cant cut inside either. 4-4-2 pl0x
