Heard it may be unscrambled this weekend.

If so, can I get it on my Humax HDR? And how?

Free to pay-tv subscribers who don't currently pay for a sky sports sub.

A sky box, viewing card and valid sub are still required to view via satellite.

So it's actually free ? It's not just a Londoner doing a promo for Sky Sports 1, Sky Sports 2, and their other channel ? ;)

For those with a Sky sub, although the Sky press release says that the HD Sky Sports channels are free too for those with a HD sub, I don't have a HD sub, just the most basic of Sky packages and the Sky Sports HD channels are available to me.

ESPN isn't a Sky Sports channel.

Sky yesterday scrambled Setanta Ireland as the Liverpool match was kicking off.. Why was this?

Didn't effect me because I have my internet with upc and get the channel anyway.. but I thought this was a little odd?

Setanta scrambled Setanta, not Sky. Setanta Ireland is a pay channel on Sky so you must pay their monthly subscription if you wish to view.

I was thinking that too, then my Dad insisted he "always" watches the matches that are on Setanta on Sky.. Should of known better really :P

ESPN is still not a Sky Sports channel. It is owned by a completely separate company.

ESPN usually follow suit in a few weeks time and give a freeview weekend also. They did last year anyway. Fingers crossed.
