    Try BOC Gases. Google them.

Thanks for info, but BOC is not suitable for my usage. They only do rental which does not really suit hobbiest like me.

    Hi,
Irish Oxygen in Cork do a small bottle about 2-3 ft tall.
You purchase these and just get refilled whenever,no rental fee.
Maybe they might have distributers close to you, would be worth a call.

    Regards,

    Kieran

    HI Kieran,

That sounds exactly like the stuff, I am after ;)

Do you have any idea of the price for a bottle?

I will default give them a ring on Monday. I am after those kind of setup for 1 year at this stage.

    Hi,
I am not sure of the cost of the miniweld bottles.
All you need then is a portapack trolley(small trolley which which holds the bottles with wheels)
You could ring gasweld or kelly welding in dublin for prices for the other gear.
If cutting only, get regulators with 1 or no clocks but if welding and cutting get 2 clocks single stage per regulator.
Make sure you get a flasback arrestor either standard disposable or resettable for each regulator to prevent any blowback into the bottles.

    Regards

    Kieran

    Thanks a million Keiran,
I have the rest of the gear, I just need the bottle. Thanks for the info about gasweld.
I knew Kelly up in cookstown.

A good one as well wholeweldingsupplier.ie very good price, the also do hobby gas Argon and Argon/mix for maybe 2 month now.

I will give them a buzz tomorow and see how much are the bottle, the size and the pressure in them.

    Cheers

I rang the distributor of Irish Oxygen up in Waterford, and the miniweld is about €750 including VAT for the 2 bottles.
So it make it to dear for me. However I was glad to see it was possible.

I will keep looking on the second hand market I might find something one day.

    Cheers
