It seems these threads are pretty common around here, I was wondering why there is no megathread about it?

Combined, everyone here can agree to an extent on some cars and not on others. I know you can search online for information on sites such as www.honestjohn.co.uk, yet this doesn't seem to defer people from posting a thread. Hell, even I've done it!

Or perhaps this has been done before? I haven't lurked here that long, in fairness.

I think what he's trying to say is make a list for every car on the market, and a regular price they can be gotten for?

    Such as:
    Mondeo - around 3k
    Octavia - around 8k
    Transit - around 5k

    So on so forth?

Oh right, might work on a forum for a specific marque, can't see it being too feasible here.

You want to know the value of cars? There's plenty of car valuation checkers online if that's what you need. I hope I understood you.

It's not a whole lot of use for the Irish market as it's for the UK market where the ridiculously random VRT rates haven't been applied.
