I am in 6th year and am facing the challenge of having to choose which university I want to go to!
I want to go somewhere where I will have the most fun(e.g student nightlife, societies, types of people i would meet)
i am from a small village so i amnt keen on Dublin as its so big and have been thinking of Galway but i could go either way and end up in Dublin...

i want to study medicine so i will have to be in this place for approximately 6 years!
    please help.

If your main concern about which university to attend rests on where you "will have the most fun" then you shouldn't be attending a university in the first place.

But, if you must insist, any university is going to be full of things to do and things to get involved in.

Another question, does any club in galway accept college id? I lost the agecard the last night and I don't have anything else for now.

You're social life is as good as you make it however I would recommend Galway highly. Most clubs accept student ID's as far as I know, even CPS let people in with them last night. If you have a bank card or anything just bring it as a back up to be sure.

Why not? University falls between being old enough to drink and young enough not to have major responsibilities, so it is the prime window of opportunity for socialising. There is the argument that the government is subsidising most of the fees, but you can't blame anyone for taking them up on the offer. Blame the universities for charging €5800 a year for some crap slideshows and a couple of exam papers.

I'm from Dublin and went to College in NUIG.Just finished there and in my and many of my friends opinions, who stayed in Dublin,it was a great decision in deciding to study down there. Not only is the crack and the nightlife unbeatable but Galway city is made for students and as a college I feel it is becoming a bigger and better establishment with its new Engineering building etc.
