Planning Condition - Water & Drainage

I received what I presume is a standard "condition" on the granting of my planning permission which goes mostly like this:

"The developer shall consult with the supervising engineer(Water & Drainage), Water Services Section of city council in regard to compliance with the above standards and procedures (Site Development Standards and Procedures of the council) with full details to be agreed in writing with the planning authority prior to the commencement of development".

My question is this, is there a standard template I can use (as I am the developer I guess seeing as I'm going the direct labour route) in order to communicate with the Water and Drainage supervisor?

Any information or guidelines on how to sort this out in writing would be of great help to me.

    GF

Just bang off a letter to him quoting your planning reference number and refer to condition no xx whereby you have been told to consult with him. Request a meeting with him to discuss the matter and just say that you can meet him either in his office or on site and at his earliest convenience.
