MANCHESTER CITY VS EVERTON, Etihad Stadium 24|09 @ 12.45

City are having a tough time in recent years to get anything from a well drilled Everton side, but can the run continue..

    probably not..

With the dazzling array of talent on show for City it is simply inexcusable for them not to get a result. But if you expect Everton to roll over, you will be waiting a long time.

The weekly wage bill for the city's X1 vs Evertons tells its own story.

    verdict: City by one.

    Moyes.. punching above all expectations.

City by at least 2. At home I expect them to roll over most teams.

4-1 City. They'll score early and put Everton to the sword.

    City 6 Everton 1

    Come on Everton!
    Else
----Come on Silva, Aguero and Kompany!

Would love to see Moyes sock Mankini again but can't see it happening. I'll have money on Cahill to score anytime though. He always scores at Eastlands.

    City 6 Everton 1

I'll say City 8 Everton 2............Joe Hart is a nice lad and he will let Everton get in another goal just to make them feel a little better about themselves:p

City should be winning this but Everton have a decent record against them recently.

Great to have all the top contenders playing of a Saturday for once.

Everton rarely get turned over in these type of games. Usually make a good fist of it.

Never been so worries about a beating since the Mike Walker days :pac:

I f*cking hate when we play Everton.

They not only beat us, but usually completely outplay us. Just shows how good Moyes is. Here's hoping it turns today.

Lescott really is a terrible defender.

Lescott really is a terrible defender.

Ye he's very average...Toure will eventually replace him as first choice and I'm sure City will dip into the transfer market next summer for a fullback and a centre half

Dzeko having a shocker...cue him scoring

But if he continues to play poorly, then they may not score, thus not winning, allowing us to pull further ahead later on today. :D

    Oh no, I put in a C :O

4 goals or not, Tevez is a much better player imo. He should be taken off. But being Mancini, he'll probably replace Aguero instead.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,472 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

It's the first half and Everton are playing a 6-3-0. I'm bored to tears. What a sh*te game for a neutral, watching one team defend for 90 minutes and the other try to break them down.

The K was fine but the C was the problem:p

Has to be Dzeko off Johnson on.

Typical Everton away from home against a big team. Extremely difficult to break down.

City will probably get at least one or two clear cut chances in the second half and will have to be clinical.

you might have slightly overseen Evertons recent performances vs City..

For all the talent on show City dont look to cute in front of goal.

Obviously I was joking!!! City looking a little "cuter" than Everton for what it's worth in front of the goal..........

Im sure any team with every player earning over 100 grand a week would be cute in front of goal.
