    hi my friend is going to oz for a year and was wondering how much it costs and how long would the dog be in quarentine and what is involved in the whole thing thanks for the help

    There was a thread up here before where a guy took is akita to Oz from ireland it cost almost 7000 dollars but he was moving permanently.
    Tell your friend to forget it as he will be back in a year or two,it will limit his accomodation chances and work.
    They will be less mobile and surely someone can mind the dog for a year.
