Hi PADDY I'm pretty sure this is one of the pistols me and Inari where recommending to you, the KP-05 is also know as the 1911 tactical/ hi capa.. bla bla bla. TBH there isn't much to know about it. uses co2, performs great (it should if it was maintained and has the ergonomics of an 1911
    here it is here

similar to the S&W PD. the mags aren't exactly easy to come by so my advice is pick them up when ever they come in stock in a shop. The co2 should give you better performance in the upcoming cold weather. Not too sure what else you want to know really?

thanks for all your info man
i was also wondering has anyone had any problems with them if so were they major/minor problems

my mate has the PD version apart from the mags being a b*tch to get, none really, oh just watch the mag, the 1911's design has the mag release sticking out, this pistol copies that so when it's in the holster it may decided to go for walkies, easiest thing to do is either keep it unloaded, duct/camo tape the mag in or, what I've done with my M9. is get a piece of camo tape and an black bungie cord (the ones you get in tracksuit legs to stop them grinding off the floor) then put the bungie under the mag over each side of the grip then attach using the camo tap, this way it can be moved aside to change mag but won't let the mag drop, may still fall out but at least the worse is you'll get hit but youw on't lose it :)

I was going to buy one until walked into hobby one day and they had an OD KJW Co2 M9. I had to have it so bought it instead never looked back but from reviews etc it's really good, you know how to clean and oil it properly etc yeah?

yeah i took the slide off earlier and gave whatever i could reach a good cleaning
im not too sure about taking it apart any further until i get a little while to get used to it
after i cleaned it off the action off the slide was twice as smooth.

well the spring guide, spring outer and inner barrel are pretty easy too and you should be able to take it apart in a few weeks, the gas mech is another story, relatively simple but a bit dodgey if you don't know how.

I got one a while ago and lost the Green Gas mag for it, Fell out of the holster at the site but I got a replacement Co2 one though,
TM Hi-Capa 5.1 mags should work in it too

I havent tested it myself but I read on another forum that they work, they should do as they're both Hi-Capas and both mags look similar enough,
Maybe you could borrow one or test it at a site if someone there has a TM Hi-Capa 5.1

    yeah i suppose your right.
could anyone else confirm this for me?
