Hi All, would you recommend a place where I could get materials for insulating a house? I am looking to insulate external walls with Styrofoam so I need a styrofoam, adhesive, mesh and something to finish the walls - some premixed formula with different colors to pick. Friend of mine will do the job so I'm not looking for service...materials only.Wexford,Wicklow and Dublin will do. THANKS

Most builders providers will have stock.

Would be no harm getting a few quotes from some SEAI registered installers. Depending on the size of house, the €4000 grant could go a long way. You'll get list of installers on seai website.

Also take into consideration how long the job will take. I'm getting it done at the minute and installer says it will take approx 3 weeks. Are you paying your friend to do the work?

If doing it youself, I think K-Rend is what you are after for the render. Available from most builders merchants.
