I got a gift voucher for my birthday and am thinking of buying a PSP, i was in game today and they had a PSP (2000??) for 179e. In Gamestop they had a PSP (3000?) for 139e. I went into HMV then and they had none at all as there is a new one out for Christmas.

Should i wait for the new one or buy the current one? The price of the 139e one appeals to me but to be honest i havent a clue the hand helds.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

If it was me I'd wait.

But this boils down more to the type of gamer you are, what games do you like etc? no point buying a system for cheap if you won't use it

I was looking at the titles for the PSP, i like the GTA games and they are going for a tenner at the moment. Wouldnt be looking for anything too exciting, i like any type of FPS or shooter in general as well. Not really looking to have a start of the art thing going around with me either.

Cheap and cheerful will do it. Can they be used as e-book readers as well i wonder?
