Daly Putters

Was at the recent All-Ireland Pitch and Putt Championships in Portmarnock and on one of there practice greens there was a selection of new Daly putters to test out with the lads from Daly Golf telling everyone about them.

They have a design to keep the bottom of the club flat to the ground called an anchor system and have increased the sweet spot of the putter to maximum effect by shifting the weight consistently through the club to get the same contact and feel no matter were you strike on the clubface. I tried them out but with my putting style i found it hard to use them.

Was wondering has anybody come across them before? They are based in Northern Ireland.http://youtu.be/ke8mECKnTKA

    Hi,
Used one for a year and they are very good at getting u set up well only thing i did not like about them is that they were toe weighted, i putt better with a face balanced putter. Would sell it if u want to try one.

Golfing Memories in Bray used to sell a few of these. They are a bit odd looking but I liked the look of them for some strange reason. I was tempted to try one out when I saw them there but never went for it in the end.

5or 6 guys in my club are using them, and the all think they are the best thing since oversized drivers. I have had a go with them and they are brilliant for alignment and seem to give good feedback. I will get one eventually, when I have a few quid.

As far as I know, the company is owned by Robin Daly, son of Fred Daly open champion.

Thanks Mike but i tried one already and just didn't feel comfortable I have an awkward stance so the putter didn't suit my style to be honest.

They are perfect for a beginner style player I think. Someone who wouldn't be used to the game it would help improve there putting i feel an awful lot. The problem with new players to the game is the lack of feel and touch they have around a green and just think it's about banging the ball in the back of the cup without actually reading a line or thinking about pace or so. With these clubs they feel great when you hit the putt and its hard to pull a putt with them
