'It was designed in the aesthetic fashion of wooden Chris Craft boats. I used individual, 1x3 lengths of wood, in order to replicate the look of a wooden ship hull. The wood is select, knot-free pine, and each piece was painstakingly chosen by me after passing my strict requirements for quality. Following completion of the building process, I stained the wood to Sedona Red (3 coats), and applied 4 coats of polyurethane (sanding between each coat), for a rich, protective shine.'

So basically he's made a boat, which resembles a chair or a dresser more than an arcade machine - but strapped an X arcade to it.

Well at least you'd be able to sail it home, saving on shipping.

Edit - he's also selling this washer/dryer which looks like more of an arcade machine than his arcade machine -

You also have to wonder about any person with a user id of "fatal.lightning" who's making his own arcade cabs! :pac:

Most powerful arcade cabinet ever? All he has running it is a PS3. My PC which was made from donated parts from my friend is more powerful. Chancer. It doesn't even look good.

Really? He's put a nice tv in a manky blue box and plonked a PS3 on top. If you exclude the blue whale then the other kit is not bad, but not 4 grand!

Maybe he means powerful as in physical power? I'm sure if it was coming at you head on in full wind at sea you'd feel the power of it alright.

"This arcade cabinet is perfect for the hardcore gaming enthusiast"

I dont think anyone here is hardcore enough for that cab

The driving cab looks pretty good but mashing an x-arcade into chest of drawers doesn't make a cabinet. That thing is bloody hilarious looking!
This cabinet features an X-Arcade Tank Stick, which is the industry standard for excellence
    Indeed....

Now all you need is the World's Best Jacket to wear while you play it:

To be honest it looks more like the worlds most powerful drinks cabinet.

    It looks like muck tbh.
And wiring it to a PS3 and calling it "worlds most powerful arcade machine" is simply false advertising, but then "worlds most misguided PS3 setup" won't really pull the punters in.
What you need there is a few fag burns and some 5 month old dried mayonnaise encrustations, maybe the odd crushed chip and some spice burger debris.
I do get the impression that he is a superb carpenter but a lousy gamer, who gets all his knowledge of games from his 10 year old nephew.
And as for the sit down cab, it's a little better but his description is still erroneous, claiming that it's future proof simply because you can swap out the tv, the steering wheel and the PS3, reminds me of Trigger and his sweeping brush!

wonder if he is in a relationship...

Looks like each room is full of gaming stuff and no man in a relationship sells his washer dryer

The narrower a man’s mind, the broader his statements.

    Ahhh, future proofing...
Additionally, this cabinet is 100% future-proof, meaning that it will never become obsolete, unlike every other arcade racing machine. With this cabinet, you can always change the game, and you can even swap out the system (for instance, you can swap out the PS3 for a PS4, whenever it is released in the future).

My PS1 was totally future proofed because I replaced it with a PS2 then a PS3!
