It's started already with Jonathan Caldwell joint top at stage 1 at Dundonald links in Scotland. Noel Fox and Aaron O'Calaghan also progressed.

Gary Murphy, Seamus McMonagle and Michael Collins failed to progress.

Is that European Tour Q School or Challenge Tour Q school?

Would be delighted for him if he could make something happen here, I watched him in Killarney and for someone who has such a likeability factor(Louis Walsh), he just seemed to not want to be there, I don't know whats going on in his personal life but hopefully he can turn it around and have a strong finish here and for the rest of the season.

On a side note, Paddy still reckons he can win the Fed-ex cup this weekend:D:D:D

    69 for -3 and t12.
That has been amended to a 68 for -4 and t11

Very sorry to hear that they didn't qualify. What club is Michael Collins from?

And is Peter O' Keeffe playing in any qualifier? I saw him in Killarney a few years ago and couldn't believe that he could hit the ball as far as he did!

Disappointed to say that none of the Irish made the top 70 after 4 rounds to make the cut for remaining 2 rounds. David Higgins very unlucky, bogeyed last to go from T61 to T71 :(.

Plenty of bigger names failed also, both Saltmans, Sandelin, Broadhurst, Wakefield and Dougherty to name a few.

Nick Dougherty in Q School.... just goes to show how quickly the downfall can be. I also seen Alastair Forsyth missed the cut be a few shots, another multiple winner on tour.

Lots of players will be happy with that.
