Anyone catch the Trilby Tour on Sky on Monday night.

There was a Irish scratch golfer in the playoff with a very unusual swing. Not sure if he really was a scratch golfer or if this was this a wind up?

Yeah,i watched it aswell as there were a few buddies of mine playing in it, they wernt shown atall though.
God yeah, that scratch guy had one bad swing alright,i'd imagine he spends a lot of time looking for his ball, looks like he could hit it anywhere.
He probably was scratch alright, however he got to it with that swing though

Yeah it was like his knees collapsed each time he hit the ball.Strange

He made some mess of the playoff

if he is the 2011 Irish Champion..Trilby Tour Website says he is off 13,not scratch

The narrower a man’s mind, the broader his statements.

the guy that won the shootout is prob off 13 (even though i though it was 10)

The lad off scratch works for the Slieve Russel as well.

I think you play off 3/4 handicap in the competition

Not sure. Max might be 18 and 3/4 of that would be 16 then for comp

I don't think opics plays off scratch...unless he only posts his bad rounds on the 'how did you score' thread....

    Anyone else play in this?

Is it worth the entry fee do you think. Looks like a good day out tbh

I wouldn't mind giving it a go but all the events for 2012 are full at this stage.
