what would you wear with this dress

Hi, I am wearing the attached dress to a wedding at the end of October. The wedding is in the highlands so it is going to be very cold.

So what shoes, coat/fur shrug (or what ever you call those over the shoulder fur things) would you wear with this dress?

I am thinking of shoes the same colour as the belt/material in the middle of the dress.
I think the bag should match the shoes - but I think I need to get the shoes first? I am thinking peep toe?

And about the coat - I think it will be freezing but I think one of those fur things would be much nicer as oppose to a coat? Any ideas?

    thanks, S

Op in the highlands with a shrug - are you serious?? You will freeze to death! Same with the peep toes. Full toe shoes and tights. No point in having blue legs!

yes - but in the name of fashion - i would be willing to go half way.. i think a peep toe would be great with this dress no? I am afraid that a closed shoe would be too heavy? And what colour would you go for in footwear? Copper or Taupe?

Lovely dress OP- perfect colours for a highland wedding! Tbh I'd be going for tights and closed toe shoes too, and most likely a really dressy coat. You can always bring a shrug or pashmina for when you get indoors at the afters, but I think someone looking comfortable and appropriately dressed for the weather is always more stylish than someone who sacrifices comfort and clearly looks frozen/uncomfortable!

Yep. Patent leather shoes and dark tights will look really classy and elegant.

thanks - and yes it is a lovely dress - i did not think so till i tried it on - wow.

Yeah - I think a coat too - ok - and perhaps closed toe shoes - so what colour? The dark brown or taupe?

Also, hair? I am thinking up?

I think i will just have to walk around town for a few days with the dress in tow.. to get the accessories.

You will have to!! Its always the case when you are looking for a particular colour you wont find it so be prepared to change your mind! Hair up would be lovely - very lily allenish if you go with the dark tights etc

thanks - i like the faith shoes - not sure about dark tights though. I do not do "latest fashion" very well - I am more of a classic girl.

I have seen these dresses in a few shops, have you seen that little jacket that is with them, did your shop have them?
Its an Italian brand the dress no??? Rinascimento-
One question will you be removing the little label tag on Front, I saw it and felt it made the dresss look weird.
    Enjoy the wedding

    ;)

yeah thats the brand. Really where have you seen them? No there was no jacket with it in the shop I bought it in.

I will defo be removing the little tag - I do not know why a company would put it there.

thanks for that - i might give them a buzz tomorrow...
though i think a little fur number would be super with this..

and i ordered a pair of sparkly copper shoes from ebay, just to see what they look like with the dress,,

they were only €15 so if i don't wear them to the wedding its no loss
