40k Theme Songs - Space Marines

I'm currently suffering from chronic boredom. So, I've decided to put theme songs and music to the original space marine chapters from warhammer 40k.

When I think of particular chapters or factions I tend to get a song or genre of music stuck in my head. This can lead incessant humming or foot tapping, which is generally frowned upon during gaming meetings or proceedings tongue.gif.

Perhaps not the most original of ideas, but I've nothing better to do for the next hour or so, so here goes!

Off the top of my head and in no particular order:

White Scars - Dragonforce: Through the fire and flames/Deep Purple: Highway star

Dark Angels - My Chemical Romance/ Bon Jovi: You give love a bad name

Emperors Children - Motley Crue/ The Electric six: gay bar

Space Wolves - Floggin' Molly: Drunken Lullabies/ Dropkick Murphies: I'm shippin' up to Boston

Night Lords - Gorgoroth/ Wilson Pickett: In the midnight hour

Imperial Fists - Der Koniggratzer Marsch/ Tchaikovsky: 1812 overture

Iron Hands: Dubstep of some description/ Zlad: Electronic, Supersonic

World Eaters - Pantera: 5 minutes alone/Five Finger Death Punch: War is the answer

Ultramarines - The Beatles (I dunno, maybe Paperback Writer)

Death Guard - Sonny Boy Williamson: Don't start me talkin'/ Eric Clapton & J.J Cale: Sporting Life Blues

Raven Guard - Wagner: Flight of the Valkyrie

Blood Angels - Slipknot: Dead memories

Luna Wolves (Black Legion) - Ray Charles: It should have been me/ Cage the Elephant: Ain't no rest for the wicked

Word Bearers - Rage Against the Machine: Killing in the name/ Sex Pistols: Anarchy in the UK

Thousand Sons - Eels: Novocaine for the soul

Salamanders - The Rembrandts: I'll be there for you

Alpha Legion - The Helblinki Sextet: A pirates life for me

This is 10 or 15mins of ideas me and the brother threw around. Feel free to through down your own ideas. Remember, THIS IS A BIT OF FUN! You can be as serious or light-hearted as you like and songs needn't apply to just the space marines; feel free to bring in other factions and races too!

    Enjoy! biggrin.gif

Hehe, I approve this message. I just wear them down with my appalling singing. Drives them crazy.

Nearly anything by Manowar for the spacewolves, although thier EP Sons of Odin probably fits the best - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sons_of_Odin
Down from the sky into the fight
    Clutched full of rage!!
    full of thunder
    and glory
    Swords in the wind
    crossing the sky
Lords of doom bring an end to their story

    ,etc.

Not my first though, but I could see it. Biggest trouble I had was with the Iron Hands and Iron Warriors. Similar, but different. Those and the thousand sons - had a few ideas but none really fitted the bill.

Had loads of fun with the others mind. MOUNTAINS of possibilities, both serious and otherwise.
