Know someone who has just booked on their test on this website. It was 102 euro to book on this site whereas it is 85euro on the rsa website to book it.

They don't have a contact number on the website, only an email. Seems a bit strange to me. Maybe it is ok. It seems to be an all of Ireland website, rather than just the republic.

Does anyone have any experience of using it? Is it legit? Any issues with it?

They seem to be the middle man, they'll book your test and charge you for the honour. Why didn't you use the RSA website?

I'm not even going to click the link.

Is this a spam joke or something? Why would you pay 17 euro more to book through some random dodgy website?

Even if it is legit I'd have to agree with the sentiment of sentient_6

I really have no idea why someone wouldn't just click on drivingtest.ie. Even googling driving test throws up the RSA site first? Seems almost too much to believe!

Give it a day or two and then contact the RSA to see if they have received payment. I clicked on the terms and conditions of that site and got zero. Keep an eye on that...

    - No telephone number or address in contact page,
    - Driving test DVD's are priced in sterling
    - Link to UK safety charity
    - All the driving books/DVD's are for UK only and are not RSA approved
    - Terms & Conditions page has nothing on it
    - Domain only recently registered

I'm actually scared that somebody would be foolish enough to give their license number, PPS number and payment details to such a crowd.

Smells of mickey mouse outfit who can't properly update their site for Irish use or a scam, the fact that it has no contact details other then e-mail is of great concern....that and its only recently setup.

Personally if it was me I'd never ever touch them but since you appear to have I'd cancel the payment method used right now and try get the bank to do a chargeback (thats if you didn't use laser).

    - again number address on contact page but they do have a contact number

Quick google of the URL throws back this type of stuff
    http://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/www.bookyourpracticaltestonline.co.uk

So much wrong with the T&C's, charges in sterling and euro when your ordering, a gmail address for e-mail contact, mentioning the Data Protection Act 1998 which is a UK act...the Irish one is 1988.

    Get onto your bank asap.

The RSA are now advising people against using websites such as these, http://rsa.ie/unofficial-test-websites

My brother was charged e57.60 to book his driver theory test on this website last week. He had googled 'book theory test Ireland' and this website was the FIRST to display.. in the Google Ads section! He has received no communication from the company since the money was charged on his credit card. There is no contact number for them and he has since cancelled his credit card. It was a stupid thing to do as he will admit, he should have known to go to theorytest.ie!

I've reported the website to Google and the RSA!

Guys please do the same or if anyone has suggestions on reporting please let me know!

    Cheers!

I would be rather worried with these gimps.

passing out your pps number and details and the likes to a non government agency is just asking for trouble.

there is only one tester in Ireland and that is the RSA only. they charge about €85 now or whatever it is.

there is no possible way for any other persons or company to waive that price in any way to make it cheaper. pointless to even look.

stick to the officials on this one.
