Cool Houses and Places to Live

The thread on really crap flats/houses to rent got me thinking that there should be a thread thats the complete opposite. To start off here's two places that I think would be cool to live in:

1. This hobbit style house was built for only £3000 (€3447). Looks pretty cool, although there's no mention of a bathroom.

2. Imagine living in your own castle. This one in Kenmare, Co Kerry was on sale for €10 million back in 2008. I love the underground swimming pool.

Or you can move to Galway and pay €1.5m for a half built house that still has scaffolding all over it!!!

Nice one, but looks far too cold. Looks like somewhere a supervillain would live. Plus all that glass means not enough privacy. You couldn't walk around naked/host an orgy in comfort.

Now that is very cool. I like the idea of bringing guests there and being able to say "Welcome to my Island" in a slightly creepy way.
