i dont want to make a new thread, but i have similar question. i hope op dont mind.

i am looking for android for 200-250eu prepay O2 or from other operator, but that it would be easy to unlock. ( could go up to 300eu if really really worth it )

its a present, she would not be in to modding it etc, it has to be good at calling and texting. she enjoys a game of peggle now and then too. ;)

Your best bet is probably the HTC Wildfire S if you're buying it from O2 - that's at 239. You won't get anything better in that price range.

Have a look on adverts.ie and you might pick up something much better in that price range - in fact you will. Maybe a Desire S or something - 400 on O2 prepay.

Nice little phone. Just over €170 delivered. Not due in stock until early October though.

    I'd assume it's a typo, that's less than half-price. But if it's not, I'm definitely very tempted.

Although the rumour that Sony Ericsson confirmed it will get an upgrade to Ice-Cream Sandwich has turned out to not be true, despite what Wikipedia says (it still might though)
