    Hi guys,

I'm buying new duvets/pilows and can't decide whether to buy something cheap and cheeful or spend a bit extra on a good one. Whats the major differences? I know down/feathers are softer than synthetic etc, just can't decide which one to get?

I know a 13 tog synthetic duvet is not as warm as a 13tog down duvet. i have a synthetic duvet for summer and a big down one for winter.

I have recently changed all our hollowfibre duvets for Microfibre ones - very happy so far - nice and light and snuggly but still warm

Ikea,s bedding department is brillaint and they have about 10 different styles and types of duvet on display (cross sections) that shows you what is best for you.

Summer and winter duvets.Various tog types.

Worth a trip, even just to look and see for yourself.
