I might be starting a plumbing apprenticeship next month and I am just wondering how long the waiting lists are when doing your phases in college. Does the apprenticeship usually last the four years or is it longer due to less demand for phases 2,4 and 6.

Way less demand now.Phase 2 starts in feb/march or aug/sept so you should be in either when you have 3 months done.

Phase 4 is Jan-Apr-Sept so should be called after you have 6 months after completed finishing phase 2.

Phase 6 is the same time starting and 6 months after completeing phase 4.

Good luck if you get it.

What part of the country are you in? As long as your working and not signed on you should be finished in 4 years.

you have to serve 6 months in work before you can be called to phase 2. the first year in our place started in december and went to phase to there in august.
