I'm becoming over weight

    Not sure if this is the right place to post. Basically, I gave up smoking in December last year. I have gone from 60-65 KG to 80KG and I am around six foot. Now I am not sure if it's a good weight as it seems about right. I am also 21 years of age.

    But I have noticed two things I am not happy with, firstly I have developed a large belly and a double chin or fat/skin hanging under my jaw line. Also my breast have also put on a bit of weight.

    I don't do much exercise or diet at all. Quite frankly, I know a bit about weight lifting not so much about diet as any diet I done was to gain weight not losing it.

    I'm looking for help and I want to start chaning this ASAP, gaining near 20KG since Decemeber is worrying to me as if I don't put a stop to this I can see it becoming a situation very quickly.

    Suppose it gose to show how bad smoking is for you. It was holding of my weight thankfully I managed to control and stop smoking after 4/5 years smoked since I was 15/16.

    Has anyone got any advise on what direction I should take this? I want to keep the 80KG body weight and tone up, lose the belly, breasts and double chin. The chin is really annoying me I really don't like it at all.

    I do drink a fair amount of beer threw the week, drinking maybe 3 nights a week and consuming 5-6 pints in a small sesion and 8-10 in a large session, If I am not drinking in the pub I would drink about 8 cans, but again I don't drink every night just 3 nights a week mainly Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

    As for eating, I tend to eat dinners in the house, breakfast a roll and drink alot of milk or so my mother tells me. I wouldn't eat much crap, I would drink alot of Lucozade and surgery drinks in work. Just typing this I am realising I have an awful diet :(

    Can anyone offer any advise for me, what type of programme I should work to/diet. Will I ever lose the belly ? How long am I looking at ? I really can't believe I am at this situation, this time last year I was looking to gain weight. ****ing smokes, don't even smoke any more and there causing me problems.

    Go on www.marksdailyapple.com and read the whole site, it might help you.

    And maybe throw in some bodyweight exercises at home like squats, burpees and push ups.

    Join a gym and get programme from a trainer(post it up here tho so we judge it in case its shoite), stop eating **** food! vegetables,fruit,eggs,chicken,cow and more vegetables=GOOD. A roll for breakfast? whats in it? no more sugary drinks, you'll be getting enough from the milk so id cut out the fizzy stuff completely, you're going to have to educate yourself on nutrition, so read the sticky at the top of the page! workout the calories you need daily, and split it into 3-6 meals of healthy food and your sound... its as easy as that!

    Holy mother of god.... no more binge lushing man... thats a fair bit of drink! feckin hell... 10 pints is around 2000 calories! one night a week at most and stick to spirits, or you could go out and not drink?
