I have realised that my prsi contributions this year are zero because my profit has fallen below 3000 (approx) .
Should I be considering making a voluntary contribution anyway?
(I have been making prsi-self contributions fairly regularly over the past 25 years or so and am coming up to retirement age).

By the way , I filled out an online form to be sent my prsi contribution record a week or so ago .Is it normal for this to take a while for them to send this out in the post?

you need to find out if you satisfy the contribution conditions for pension/benefits......depends on your personal record

It took a good few months in my case.
