Does anyone know if its possible to create a DB, Table or View in MYSQL which mirrors or replicates a table from an Oracle DB accessable through an ODBC connection.

I basically want to be able to reference say an up to date table of customers in the Oracle DB but from within the MYSQL DB.

    Any ideas?

Is there a MySQL equivalent to the MSSQL OpenDataSource function?

Ive no idea, I have a reasonably limited knowledge of MYSQL. From my research I dont think its possible without 3rd part sw. Might resort to writing a script which updates a MYSQL table with the required data every hour using Windows Scheduler.

    This gets my vote.
