I recently started getting the train from Hazelhatch to Heuston. I just found out this morning that if I buy my ticket to the City Centre instead of Heuston it includes the 145 bus as far as Leeson St at no extra cost.

If I buy a day return from Hazelhatch to City Centre can I use it on the 145 on the return leg also?

Buying the train ticket to the City Centre should be more expensive than paying to Heuston by about €1.10, this amount covers the bus but it is slightly cheaper than paying seperately on the bus. Afaik if you get a return to the City Centre it should include the bus from the City Centre to Heuston.

From Hazelhatch there is no extra cost. A single is €2.40 to Heuston or to City Centre
