    Hey folks,

A quick word of warning to be careful parking in Marley park......

I drove in at about 2pm today. I parked the car In the back car park and was gone for about 30 minutes for a walk.
When I got back and put the key in the lock to open the car I noticed it was open, funny I thought to myself as i could of swore I locked it.
Anyways earlier on this evening I went to put the key in the passenger side door and noticed the key will not fully go in, upon further inspection the lock is damaged and it is clear somebody had broken into my car. Nothing was taken as I had no valuables in the car but obviously somebody was watching me as I walked off, and then proceeded to break into it.

It looks like I'll need to have the barrel replaced, snapping over it.....

OP, do you mean the car park at the Grange Road entrance or the College Road entrance?

    College road entrance

That is annoying - i always park in the College Rd one as it's easier to get in and out of.

Just to report that I parked there yesterday afternoon, college road car park and when I was leaving I noticed broken glass on the ground in two places, clearly car break ins. The glass was in the middle of the carpark.

I use that car park in the morning 3 times a week to go for a run and have never noticed or heard about anything like that before. I always park down at the recycling bin banks because they tend to have people using them coming and going so your car is less isolated than at the other end.

Never leave anything visible in your car folks.

Somebody needs to park there with a hidden can running...

It may have died down recently due to the works going on to the side of that carpark, so there have been council workmen constantly coming and going, but they are all off now for the holidays so its quiet up there again.

There is always the option to park in the carpark nearer the childrens playground which still means using the college road entrance but far less easy as a getaway for any scumbags.
