    ITV 2HD
    ITV 3HD
    ITV 4HD

The above channels are now clearing with an Irish sky card. Unfortunately if you are using a sky box you can't tune them in.

Can somebody else check just to make sure. Thanks.

Yes to all three. The audio on ITV3 HD seems to be out of sync though.

    Come again?

You mean they're showing up on a *cough* fta receiver with cam/card console and ROI sky card?

The channels look good to, don't see the lip sync issue.

The lip sync is very slight but it is there

I take it, this is using an active Sky card with HD sub?

    I'm totally confused, lol.

Are they free to air, on FTV, or what on earth are we talking about here exactly? :(

Confused also with all the speaking in riddles.

    One question

Your tv might be locked for freesat only use, mind you.
Like on my fta hd box, even if you can tune them in, they'll probably show up scrambled though.

OK I'll explain. The channels are scrambled so you need a valid sky hd subscription. You also need a box that can manually tune in symbol rate of 29500. A sky hd box will not allow you to do this as they are a "locked" system.

    Cheers for the information
Looking at my list of channels available these are shown but yes they are encrypted

I wonder if these will ever come to freesat or if there are any upcoming HD channels on the way?

I remember reading years ago when itv2 etc made a brief appearance on irish epg that tv3 got them taken off. The reason was utv/itv owns tv3 and it was showing the same programs losing advertising revenue.
I don't think we'll see 2,3,4hd appearing any time soon as fta/ftv. Sky are paying the carriage for these as itv are "in trouble".
There are a few hd channels on the way like DaveHD and a few others. There is another thread on this here somewhere.

Not sure if anyone is aware but if you have a HD Sub and relevant Sky package, you can tune those 3 stations in now aswell as ITV Encore HD and Channel 5 HD.

    ITV2 HD 11.758 H 29500 3/4 DVB-S2 QPSK
    ITV3 HD 11.758 H 29500 3/4 DVB-S2 QPSK
    ITV4 HD 11.758 H 29500 3/4 DVB-S2 QPSK
    ITV Encore HD 11.068 V 23000 2/3 DVB-S2 8PSK
    Channel 5 HD 11.798 H 29500 3/4 DVB-S2 QPSK
