New Phone ?

Hi I was thinking of getting a new prepay phone.I'm on meteor but I wouldnt mind moving for a good bargain.My budgets around €300.I want an android phone with a at least 5mp camera , a memory card slot and at least 800mhz processor.I was looking At Htc Desire Hd on boards is it a good phone or are there better ones. Thanks

Desire HD is excellent. The Samsung galaxy s is about the same specwise as it.

With that budget you should really consider 1Ghz minimum, as that'll enable Flash and other processor hungry apps e.g. certain games like Diversion

I was in a situation like yours once, bought a Nokia N8.
16 GB, 12MP Camera with Xenon Flash and HD video.
Basically, I describe it as a Camera with a phone in it.

I was going to get a N8 but got a Galaxy S, and now have a S2, the N8 has an awesome camera, but if you want an awesome android phone you cant look past the GS2, its lightning fast and its camera is also very good.

HD movies, no problem. its practically a mini tablet on the go.

I was put off the N8 when I read of the phasing out of symbian, android is the one now and it seems even i phone users are realising the androids are actually good.

i phones are one of the most successful marketing ploys of the last decade but not everyone falls for it.

I got my N8 updated to Symbian Anna yesterday. The whole layout is changed and the Video is shooting at 30fps.
