Hi, my sons laptop has refused to start, it was not used for a while and when he restrted it, he was asked if he wanted to start it in safe mode but did not as he was not sure what that ment.
He now gets a black screen with a blinking cursor in top left hand corner. Unfortunately he made no discs for rebooting it and I can only get into the BIOS screen (I think thats what it is called.
The lap top is a Fujitsu siemens AMILO Notebook Li 2727.
Would anyone know how we could get start up discs for this so we could try and re boot it.
He has last years college assignments on this laptop, so ideally we would like to save them, although it wont be the end of the world if he can't as he emails a lot of his college work to his gmail address.
