    seriously, is there any more crap show on rte thatn 'up for the match'??

    rubbish if ever i saw it.
    bad as it is sitting in on saturday nite, but this is the rubbish they put on tv??

    actually, im supporting dublin, having lived here for the last 18 yrs, BUT i still hate this muck.

    seoige, seriously? sick of the two of them.

    stupid show. oh here we have jim mac son of mc gowan donall, et etc. he was on the bench in 47 etc etc etc
    absolute crap.

    nearly as bad as the rte news asking bunches of fans (in their county colours) 'who's goin to win?
    er, i dont know what they going to say, maybe the team who's colours they are wearing!!

    im flicking through all my channels and cant find any program better to watch other than 'up for the match', enjoying it aswell,bit of fun and banter

    It's telly of a by-gone era. But the older folks enjoy it so let it stay.

    You have a choice not to watch it OP, it's not as if someone is putting a gun to your head. Plenty other channels to watch.

    Seoighe is so like Mary Kennedy. She announces that some famous past player who is in the audience and then, as the camera shifts to the audience she hopes that said player will i.d. himself cos she has no clue who he is or what he looks like.

    agree with you there, i used to watch a lot when i was younger , but back then i didnt know any better , i've since grown up and developed some taste in tv programmes. i know grainne is easy on the eye but seriously ...

    It was at its best when Liam O Murchu presented, and hasn't been the same since he left - actually I was surprised they continued it since it was essentially his show.
