New TV Recommendation wanted

So I'm moving but the TV isn't coming with me :( . About 3 years ago, after a fair bit of research, I got a 37" Panasonic Viera Plasma, don't remember the exact model number. Had upgraded from an old 21" CRT, and to be honest, though it was absolutely amazing. The picture quality was absolutely fantastic, even on SD through Sky.

So I can't take this one with me, and I'm looking for a replacement. Funds are much more limited this time round, and would be happy to go for a 32". Haven't really been keeping up with changes in technology since I got this one, so not really sure where I stand with regard to LED/LCD/Plasma. Basically looking for something similar in quality to the Panasonic - sizewise happy to go anywhere between 32" - 42", and new or second hand isn't a problem either, just looking to get the best deal out there, without taking a massive hit on picture quality. Budget would be €500 max, but would rather spend less (much less if it didn't mean compromising too much on picture quality, like say €350).

For example, saw some Hannspree TVs going around the 300 mark - I assume these would be pretty poor performancewise compared to the Panasonic?

Maybe I'm asking for too much here :D If it's not possible to pick up a decent one in this price range I'll prob hold off and try and save for a while.

    Cheers.
