So after the great win today what will the line up be for this game. Do you give all the backup players a game and rest the frontliners, since it doesn't matter how much we beat the Russians by, once we beat them. The likes of Ross and Healy could certainly do with the rest.

    Court
    Best
    Buckley

    Cullen
    O'Connell/O'Callaghan

    Ryan
    Leamy
    Heaslip

    Murray
    O'Gara

    Earls
    McFadden
    Bowe
    Trimble
    Kearney

    Bench of
    Ross
    Cronin
    One of the O'Cs
    O'Brien
    Boss
    Sexton
    Murphy

    Well what's the opinion?

    Don't like your back row.

    6 Leamy
    7 Jennings
    8 O' Brien

    19 Heaslip for me.

Hope Ferg gets a go from the off. Confidence should be sky high. Hope we can build on this and expectation doesnt get to them!

Would not risk Best, he is now in the same bracket as Ross (cannot do with him getting injured)

    Rest looks about right.

I was going to leave out Best but Cronin's throwing looks dodgy. The scrum could be weak so at least you would have a decent lineout. Forgot about Jennings but to be honest he hasn't really stepped upto the mark at international level.

If Cronin has to come on though you'd really like him to have some game time behind him.

    Court
    Cronin
    Buckley
    Cullen
    Ryan
    Leamy
    Jennings
    O'Brien/Heaslip
    Murray
    ROG
    Earls
    McFadden
    Bowe
    Trimble
    Kearney

Something along those lines. But with a well stacked bench just in case.

i'd rest all of the starting team today apart from maybe DOC, Kearney, Reddan and bowe.
keep them rested up as much as possible because we'll have 3 tough weeks in a row with italy, QF and then semi final....

I'd go with the below. Rests as many of the critical or apparent first choice players as possible (BOD, POC, Darcy, Ross, Kearney), and gives game time to a lot of them that have seen little (Court, Jennings, ROG, Trimble) or nothing (Buckley, Cronin, Cullen, Ryan, Leamy, Boss, Wallace, McFadden, Murphy) so far and so would have use of it. Also a strong bench on the chance that everything goes to hell, and we need to rescue the game.

    Court
    Cronin
    Buckley

    Cullen
    Ryan

    Leamy
    Jennings
    SOB

    Boss
    ROG

    Trimble
    Wallace
    McFadden
    Bowe

    Murphy

Bench: Best, Healy, DOC, Ferris, Murray, Sexton, Earls

I wouldn't risk SOB. He's way too valuable now. His tackle on Genia today was outstanding. Not only did he tackle but he smothered the ball and rolled Genia taking the momentum out of the move. Heaslip could do with more game time to get into form.
