Mercedes fuel tank

hi, im having problem with fuel filter clogging up on my 2002 mercedes e320cdi. i was wondering if there is a sump on the fuel tank so i can drain it and flush it out, checked under car and cant see anything.

Hi I'm a mercedes mechanic and I can tell you a fact the thank is not your problem.your problem is the fuel pressure pump is breaking down and all the bits are clogging the filter this is a very common problem on this specific engine.on some it's the high pressure pump on others it's the low pressure.so trust me when I say I no what I'm talking about I've done quite afew any questions feel free to ask
